"From the moment I saw this beautiful log cabin I was sold. It truly is a dream house on a dream spot. I spent an amazing 3 weeks here and had a hard time leaving. The cabin is very cozy, comfortable and well equipped. Waking up with the breathtaking view on the mountains and forest was the perfect start of my day.
The entrance of one of the National Parks in this area is on a short walking distance. As an outdoor enthusiast I much enjoyed to explore the beautiful surroundings while hiking, snowshoeing or skiing.
Peter and Susanne, the owners, are very nice and hospitable and made me feel at home instantly. Just like their dog, Chief, who has been a great companion on many of my outdoor explorations.
A stay at this cabin provides you with the possibility to experience living in nature, quiet and peaceful, while enjoying an outdoors lifestyle. Still, the town of Smithers is only a short drive away in case you are in need of supplies or a good coffee.
One last remark for those in need of an Internet connection. Keep in mind that the available wifi reaches only one particular spot in the cabin, near one of the couches. So if you are a social media addict be prepared to be glued to that couch ;-). At the plus side: you won't be distracted by the outside world once you get up from that couch, which - given where you are - you most certainly will :-).
